POUGHKEEPSIE, New York -Â The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday, Feb. 28 its women's rowing preseason poll results ahead of the 2024 season. Marist ranked second in the poll with 84 points , beaten out by the reigning MAAC Champion, Jacksonville who collected 98.
The Red Foxes finished second in the previous season in the Varsity Eight Grand Final with a time of 7:15.830. Returnees & team captains
Natalia Miklos and
Ashley Surette earned First Team All-MAAC honors. Second Team All-MAAC recepient,
Gabrielle Insero also remains with the team.
Marist is set to commence the season against the University of Connecticut and Sacred Heart on March 29.
