Men's Basketball Hosts Iona for McCann Matinee

Red Foxes Sit Just One Game Out of First Place in Crowded MAAC Standings

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Fresh off a thrilling win over Fairfield on Friday night, the Marist men's basketball team (16-10 overall, 11-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) returns to action on Sunday by hosting Iona (13-15, 8-9). Tip-off at McCann Arena is set for 2 p.m.

At 11-6, Marist sits in a third-place tie in the MAAC but is just one game behind first-place Quinnipiac. The top six teams in the MAAC are separated by just two-and-a-half games.

Last Time Out
  • Marist earned a 58-55 home victory against Fairfield before 2,301 fans on Friday in a game televised on ESPNU.
  • The Red Foxes rallied after trailing by 13 in the first half. Josh Pascarelli led Marist with 13 points, followed by Max Allen II with 12 and Jaden Daughtry with 10.
  • Daughtry also contributed seven rebounds and two blocked shots. Isaiah Brickner set a career high with nine rebounds.
