FAIRFIELD, Connecticut- The Marist baseball team is set for a midweek game against future conference foe Sacred Heart. The Red Foxes look to continue their success after winning the MAAC series opener against Saint Peter's.

 

Last Time Out

• The Red Foxes defeated Saint Peter's in two out of three games.
  • The Red Foxes moved to 2-1 in MAAC play, earning the series win.

• Steven Mazza earned the win in game one of the series.

• Ethan Conrad had a record-breaking performance in the series win against Saint Peter's.

• In the series opening win, Conrad recorded an NCAA single-game record of four triples in one game.
• Conrad in the three-game series slashed a .545 batting average, a .688 on-base percentage, and a 1.545 slugging percentage.
• Conrad tallied four triples, one three-run home run, four walks, and nine runs batted in for the Red Foxes.
• Conrad did not tally a strikeout in the series.

  

Scouting Sacred Heart

• The Pioneers enter the midweek game at 10-11 overall and 8-1 in NEC play.
• Most recently, the Pioneers swept Stonehill in a three-game series.
• The Red Foxes hold a 4-2 overall record against the Pioneers.
  • This will be the seventh all-time meeting between the Red Foxes and Pioneers.
  • This will be the first game between the two teams since 2015.
