NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, New York â The Marist softball team earned a series win at Niagara on Saturday.

After splitting Friday's doubleheader, the Red Foxes earned a 6-1 victory in game three.
Maddie Pleasants provided the offensive firepower with five RBIs, and
Kiley Myers turned in another strong performance in the circle.

- Niagara had runners at the corners with two outs in the second, but Myers' first strikeout of the day kept it scoreless.
- The Red Foxes then opened the scoring in the top of the third on Pleasants' three-run homer.
- Brianna Delaney's homer cut Marist's lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the third.
- Marist answered with a three-run top of the fourth. An RBI single by Miah McDonald brought in Kaitlyn Husic. Pleasants immediately followed with a two-run double, which scored Sophia Recrosio and McDonald.

- Pleasants reached safely in all four of her plate appearances. She went 3-for-3 with five RBIs and a run scored.
- McDonald scored two runs. She went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk.
- Kiley Myers pitched a complete game. She struck out eight, scattered six hits, and walked just one. Myers earned her 10th win of the season.

- Marist is 23-9 overall and 5-1 in MAAC play.
- Niagara is 10-13 on the season and 3-3 in conference play.

- Marist is scheduled to play a single non-conference home game against Cornell on Wednesday.
