POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference released its MAAC Weekly Awards for the third time this season. The Red Foxes infielder, Marco Ali, earned MAAC Player of the Week for a dominant performance in the series against Columbia.

Marco Ali had a dominant weekend in New York City against Columbia. Ali, over the three-game series, batted a .615 average. Ali tallied eight hits in 13 at bats with a walk.

Ali recorded four doubles on the weekend and brought home three runs (3 RBIS). Ali only struck out once in the series. Ali scored four runs in the series against Columbia.

In the final game of the series, Ali went 4-4 with a double and two RBIs. Ali slashed a .643 on base percentage and a .923 slugging.

Ali earned the Red Foxes second MAAC weekly award of the season. Lewis Rodriguez earned MAAC Rookie of the Week for a impressive series against Southern Mississippi.
