POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference awarded Marist baseball's Jack Keenan Student-Athlete of the Week, Wednesday morning. The graduate pitcher was awarded for his success on the field and in the classroom.

Keenan has made 41 appearances over the last five seasons as a Red Fox, seeing time as both a starter and a reliever. In 95.1 career innings, he has recorded 102 strikeouts. Last season, he was named MAAC Pitcher of the Week after tossing six shutout innings at Siena with eight strikeouts.

Keenan majored in Business Administration as an undergraduate, and he is currently pursuing his MBA. He was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team last year, and he was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team each of the last three years.

Keenan was a six-time selection to Marist's Dean's List as an undergraduate. He is in fourth year as a member of Marist's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and he has participated in numerous community service projects.
