POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The No. 4 seeded Marist men's lacrosse team fell to the No. 5 seeded Siena Saints in the MAAC Quarterfinals at Tenney Stadium on Saturday night, 12-9.
With the loss, the Red Foxes' season comes to a close.

- Marist got on the board first, courtesy of Jake Deacy's 25th goal of the season on an assist by Stephen Bickel.
- The Saints responded, tying the game at the 8:48 mark.
- Bickel fired home a shot to put the Red Foxes on top 2-1.
- With 4:20 left in the first quarter, the Saints found the net to get it back to even.
- The Red Foxes responded quickly, with Peter Murray lasering one home less than a minute later on an assist by Drew Anderson.
- AÂ Siena goal at the 2:37 mark tied the game at 3-3.
- Deacy struck again for Marist, giving the Red Foxes a 4-3 lead after one.
- The Red Foxes scored two straight goals to start the second quarter. Christian Colantinio fired in his 13th goal of the season and Deacy completed the first-half hat-trick on an assist by Sam Ferrel.
- Siena scored with 2:21 left in the half to cut into the Marist lead, making it 6-4.
- The Saints opened the scoring in the second half, scoring two goals in 61 seconds to tie the game at 6-6 with 7:50 remaining in the quarter.
- Collin Patrick put the Red Foxes back on top on a beautiful setup by Anderson.
- Two minutes later, Siena found the back of the net to tie the game once again. The Saints added more to take an 8-7 lead with 1:26 remaining in the third.
- Deacy fired home his fourth goal of the game to even the score at 8-8 with 30 seconds left.
- The Saints struck first in the final frame, scoring two in a row to take a two-goal lead for the first time all night with 10:24 left in the game.
- Siena scored one more goal at 6:41 to go up 11-8.
- Anderon ripped a shot into the top left corner to get Marist within two with 3:55 left in the game.
- 71 seconds later the Saints struck again, going back up three at 12-9.
