POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist cross country program announced its schedule for the 2024 season, Friday afternoon. The men's team will compete in nine meets and the women's team will compete in eight meets.
Pete Colaizzo enters his 19
th year as the Director of the Men's and Women's Cross Country and looking to lead the Red Foxes to another successful season.
The Red Foxes begin the 2024 slate at Vassar Farm for the Marist Season Opener on Aug. 31. The Red Foxes will honor the seniors of both the men's and women's teams during the season opening meet.
The Red Foxes continue their 2024 season at the Jasper Fall Classic on Sept. 14. On Sept. 21, the Red Foxes compete in the Ted Owen Invitational at Central Connecticut State University.
The Red Foxes compete in two three meets during the month of October. The Red Foxes begin the month at Lehigh for the Paul Short Run on Oct. 5. Continuing in the month of October, the Red Foxes compete in the Metropolitan Championships at the New Jersey Institute of Technology on Oct. 12.
The men's program competes in the IC4A Championships the following weekend on Oct. 18.
Finishing the month of October, the Red Foxes travel to the University of Vermont for the Fall Foliage Invitational on Oct. 20.
The MAAC Championships take place on Nov. 2 at Twin Ponds in Howell Township, New Jersey.
The 2024 season concludes with the NCAA Northeast Regional, meeting at Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
