POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- A thrilling battle at Tenney Stadium for the Red Foxes final match of a three-match homestand against LIU, Saturday night. The Red Foxes triumphed in their second-straight home win against LIU 3-2.

The Red Foxes controlled the first 64 minutes of play, scoring three unanswered goals.

Gijs Verheul scored his first career goal in the 15^th minute of the first half, which broke the ice in the scoring category.

Ending the first half, Adam Rustami put the Red Foxes ahead 2-0 with a header, assisted by Steven Betz. The goal marked Rustami's first goal of the 2024 season.

Evan Marques joined the scoring with his first collegiate goal in the 64^th minute, giving the Red Foxes a 3-0 lead.
