POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist women's swim and dive team fell in its final home meet of the season, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes dropped their senior day meet 186-114 against Bryant.
The Red Foxes moved to 3-4 overall on the 2024-25 season and remain 2-1 in MAAC meets.
- "It was a great day to honor our seniors, most of them were Freshmen when I became the head coach, so it's been great to see their growth as individuals and as athletes. While we would've loved to send then out with a Win, I couldn't be prouder of the fight both teams showed to the very end. We knew coming in that Bryant is a very deep and well coached team so that we would have to be ready to go from the first event. For the Men it was back and forth coming down to the last relay, which brought the crowd to its feet. While we weren't able to get to the wall first today, we will take that to fuel us for Binghamton and ultimately MAACS. Our Women showed no let up against one of the top teams in the American East. Their confidence grows each week as we are competing against times that we typically only see at the Championship meet, so I'm excited to see how we continue down the road."
