POUGHKEEPSIE, NY. – Marist women's basketball saw four players reach double-figures in scoring as the Red Foxes cruised past MAAC foe Niagara at home, 74-52, Thursday evening inside McCann Arena.
Danielle Williamsen led the way with 13 points, while
Morgan Lee tallied 13 of her own to go along with 14 rebounds.
Ciara Croker added 11 points, while
Lexie Tarul contributed 12 in the win, extending the Red Foxes' win streak to three games.
With the win, Marist improved to 10-8 on the season and 5-3 in the MAAC, while Niagara dropped to 1-15 on the campaign and 0-8 in conference play.

After falling behind 6-0 to start, the Red Foxes responded with an 8-0 run, capped by a
Lexie Tarul three into the media timeout with 4:53 left in the frame.
The Red Foxes outscored the Purple Eagles 7-4 to close the frame, taking a 15-10 advantage into the second quarter.

Marist opened the second quarter with a swift 6-1 run, forcing a Niagara timeout with the Red Foxes leading 21-11 with 7:04 left in the half. The Purple Eagles scored five straight points immediately out of the break to cut the Marist lead to 25-18. However, the Red Foxes closed the half with a 15-3 run to take a 36-19 lead into halftime.
The Red Foxes stayed hot out of the half, scoring 23 points in the third quarter to take a 59-33 advantage into the fourth.

The deficit proved to be too large for the Purple Eagles, as the Red Foxes cruised to a 74-52 victory.
