Red Foxes Head to Hamden for Saturday Matinee With the Bobcats

Women's Hoops Aims to Get Back On Track at Quinnipiac

HAMDEN, CT. – Marist women's basketball looks to bounce back on Saturday, as the Red Foxes head to Hamden for a MAAC matchup with conference rivals Quinnipiac at 1 PM on ESPN+
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • Junior Morgan Lee scored a game-high 19 points and added nine rebounds to lead Marist women's basketball, but it wasn't enough as the Red Foxes came up short against MAAC foe Iona, 69-67, on Jan. 2 inside McCann Arena.
  • Lexie Tarul contributed 15 points and tallied a career-high five assists.
  • Tarul knocked down three shots from deep, marking the eighth time she's done so in a game this season.
  • Ciara Croker tallied 12 points and three rebounds.

  • Marist is shooting 75.5% from the free-throw line this season.
  • The Red Foxes have two players shooting over 90% from the charity stripe in Lexie Tarul and Danielle Williamsen.

  • Quinnipiac is led by Tricia Fabbri, who has totaled 527 wins in 30 seasons as the head coach of the program.
  • The Bobcats are 11-1 on the season and 3-0 in the MAAC on the season entering Saturday's contest against the Red Foxes.
