SARATOGA, N.Y. - Marist women's rowing traveled to compete at the Head of the Fish Regatta this past weekend.
Our Varsity 8 kicked off the day at Fish Creek. The boat consisted of coxswain
Carina Pascucci,
Amelia Nelson, Kaliegh Tompkins,
Sophie Forster,
Kora Eckelman,
Natalie Ronan,
Caitlin Bartman,
Abby Deane, and
Anna Coppola. This crew finished 5
th of 17 in a time of 12:02.370.
Next up was the 2
nd Varsity 8 event, in which an 'A' and 'B' were entered. The 'A' boat consisted of coxswain
Brooke Dini,
Breanna Schwager,
Megan McGowan,
Samantha Stortz,
Lillian Iannaccone,
Anna Iannucci,
Anna Fedders,
Shelby McDougall, and
Sophia Warburton. This crew finished 8
th out of 17, and 5
th among 'A' boats, in a time of 12:47.184.
The 'B' boat consisted of coxswain Cara Orcutt,
Elizabeth Klik,
Ashleigh Coyne,
Annika Platel,
Courtney Clark,
Stella McGinty,
Gabrielle White,
Sydney Macchia, and
Elisa Huget. This crew finished 16
th, and 5
th among 'B' boats, in a time of 13:54.053.
The Varsity 4 event followed, in which four Marist boats were entered into a field of 41 crews. The 'A' boat consisted of coxswain

Anna Coppola. This crew finished 6
th out of 41, and 5
th among 'A' boats, in a time of 13:08.837.
The 'B' boat consisted of coxswain
Ariana Novero,

Samantha Stortz, and
Lillian Iannaccone. This crew finished 13
th out of 41, and 4
th among 'B' boats, in a time of 13:42.188.
The 'C' boat consisted of coxswain
Juliette Savarino,
Katie Beichert,
Grace Stoner,
Elena Waldbillig, and
Gabrielle White. This crew finished 22
nd out of 41, and 4
th among 'C' boats, in a time of 14:20.939.
The 'D' boat consisted of coxswain
Kylie Toomes,
Gianna Angelucci,
Ella Manion,
Anna Iannucci, and
Anna Fedders. This crew finished 26th out of 41, and 2
nd among 'D' boats, in a time of 14:31.574.
The final crew to race was the F/N 8. This crew finished 14
th in a time of 15:15.811 and consisted of coxswain
Lilia Thomas,
Breanna Schwager, Emaline Drury, Charley Coward, Jillian Festa, Norah Pasquarelli, Maddie Lombardi, Brooke Goldstein, and
Sophia Warburton. This crew took on their first collegiate race with great energy and teamwork. It was an exciting start to their racing journey and a solid step forward for these new rowers. This event marked another successful day of racing for all the Marist crews on Fish Creek!
