Jadin Collins-Roberts of the Marist University men's basketball team was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Male Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Bob McCloskey Insurance.

John Dunne's eight-year tenure as head coach. He has started all 63 of Marist's games at the point guard position since his freshman year in 2023-24. Marist has won 39 games in this span, with 18- and 20-win seasons and top-three MAAC finishes each of the last two years. Collins-Roberts was named to the MAAC All-Championship Team in 2024. He ranked seventh in the MAAC in steals as a freshman, and he finished ninth in assists as a sophomore.Â
Academically, Collins-Roberts is a Communication major who has been named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll each of the last two years, and earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team last year. He is on track to earn his Bachelor's degree in three years. Collins-Roberts has also collaborated with Marist's Fashion department, which has seen him take part in the Silver Needle Runway fashion show, and his clothing brand (So Be It) is available at Marist Mporium.
Collins-Roberts is the second Marist student-athlete to be named MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week this season, following volleyball's Sarah Bumstead on Oct. 1.
The Marist men's basketball team (1-1) plays its home opener on Wednesday night against Vassar. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
