POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday evening, as the Red Foxes take on non-conference opponent Stony Brook. Tip-off from McCann Arena is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes earned their first win of the season against non-conference opponent Holy Cross, defeating
  the Crusaders 79-78 in an overtime thriller on Nov. 16 at McCann Arena.
• Senior captain guard Jackie Piddock scored a career-high 21 points, including the game-winner.
• Freshman forward Justine Henry recorded her second straight double-double with a career-high 21 points and
  11 rebounds.

SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES

• Stony Brook is 2-2 on the season. They are led by Joy McCorvey, who enters her second season as head coach of the Seawolves.
• The Seawolves are coming off a 58-52 loss to Fordham. Graduate student Diaka Berete led the way
  with 13 points.
• Stony Brook was picked to finish 12th out of 13 in the CAA Preseason Coaches' Poll.

HISTORY VS. STONY BROOK

• Wednesday's contest against Stony Brook will mark Marist's fourth contest against the Crusaders.
• The Red Foxes are 2-1 all-time against Stony Brook.
• The Seawolves came away with a 69-49 victory over Marist in the last meeting on Nov. 18, 2024.

NEXT TIME OUT

• Marist concludes its five-game homestand against Monmouth on Monday, Nov. 24.
