POUGHKEEPSIE, New York — The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its 2025 volleyball postseason awards, and Marist University was well represented. Junior
Sara Dasic was named to the All-MAAC Second Team, while freshman
Mallory Reck earned a place on the MAAC All-Rookie Team, highlighting another year of standout individual performances for the Red Foxes.
Dasic delivered a strong junior campaign as one of the conference's most impactful front-row players, providing consistent production on both sides of the ball for the Red Foxes.
Reck impressed in her first collegiate season, emerging as a reliable contributor and establishing herself among the MAAC's top newcomers.
In addition to postseason athletic honors, the MAAC announced its 2025 Volleyball All-Academic Team, recognizing outstanding academic achievements from across the league. A total of 103 student-athletes were named to this year's All-Academic Team.
To qualify, student-athletes must complete at least two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Marist University led all MAAC institutions with 13 student-athletes earning All-Academic recognition. Fairfield University followed with 11 selections, with Merrimack College, Niagara University, and Saint Peter's University each placing 10 honorees on the list. Rounding out the top half was Iona University with nine student-athletes. Completing the All-Academic Team were Sacred Heart University (8), Manhattan University (7), Siena University (7), Canisius University (6), Quinnipiac University (6), and Rider University (6).
