POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team returns to action on Monday evening, as the Red Foxes take on non-conference opponent Monmouth. Tip-off from McCann Arena is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes earned their second straight win of the season against non-conference opponent Stony Brook, defeating the Seawolves 55-51 on Nov. 19 at McCann Arena.
• Sophomore guard Danielle Williamsen led the way with a season-high 16 points on 7-for-14 shooting to go with four rebounds and two steals.
• Freshman forward Justine Henry gave the Red Foxes two scorers in double digits, adding 10 points, seven rebounds, two steals and one block.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS

• Monmouth, 1-3 on the season, is led by Cait Wetmore, who enters her second season as head coach of the Hawks.
• The Hawks are coming off a 57-44 loss to Howard. Alexis Andrews led the way
  with 15 points.
• Monmouth was picked to finish eighth out of 13 in the CAA Preseason Coaches' Poll.

HISTORY VS. MONMOUTH

• Wednesday's contest against Monmouth will mark Marist's 49th contest against the Hawks.
• The Red Foxes are 28-20 all-time against Monmouth.
• The Hawks came away with a 52-44 victory over Marist in the last meeting on March 3, 2022.

NEXT TIME OUT

• Marist is heading to St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., for the Paradise Jam with games on Nov. 28 and 29.
• Tip-off against LSU on Thursday is set for 8 p.m. on ESPN+. The Red Foxes will then face either Washington State or Miami (OH) on Friday at 5 or 7:30 p.m.
