The Marist men's and women's swimming & diving programs closed competition at the 2025 Patriot Invitational this past weekend, producing numerous finalists, top-six finishes in diving, and continued time drops across the roster.

Marist's strongest scoring came on the boards, where
Gabrielle Norton led the way with a sixth-place finish on 3-meter (243.20). She was followed by
Lola Cahill in 12th (208.45),
Shannah Gray in 14th (204.20), and
Morgan Cassidy in 15th (195.60), giving the Red Foxes four scorers in the event.
In the pool,
Sabrina Conrad delivered one of Marist's top swims of the meet, finishing sixth in the A-final of the 100-yard butterfly in 56.03. Conrad returned later in the meet to win the B-final of the 200 fly in 2:04.83, placing ninth overall.
Freshman
Mikayla Rapuano placed 13th in the 100 fly (57.25) and 15th in the 200 fly (2:09.00), scoring in both events.
Sprint standout
Anna Kirby reached the B-final of the 100 back (14th, 57.25) and also posted strong results in the 50 free and 100 free across preliminary and final rounds.
In the 100 back, Marist placed five swimmers in scoring positions, including
Elie Kauffman (7th, 56.99), Kirby (14th),
Genevieve O'Neil (18th),
Lauren Castellani (21st), and
Milena Judge (22nd).
Distance standout Colt Sears earned a ninth-place finish in the 1650 free in 16:22.04, leading the men's distance corps and picking up key points for Marist.
Marist's highest individual men's placement of the meet came in the 200-yard butterfly, where freshman Ty Dropic made the championship final and finished fifth in 1:50.56, delivering one of the top rookie performances of the weekend.
In diving,
Ethan Gibbs reached the finals on 1-meter, placing 16th with a score of 218.65.
The Red Foxes also put together multiple scoring swims throughout the meet. In the men's 200 IM, Marist placed three swimmers into finals—
Hunter Emerson,
Dylan Magda, and
Kris Flores—all finishing in the top 24 across their respective heats.
The sprint group saw Matthew McManus,
Dane Dillenback, and
Jake Mercer post strong times in the 50 free, with Dillenback scoring in the C final (21.32).
In the relays, Marist produced competitive efforts in both the men's and women's 200 free and 200 medley relays, highlighted by the men's B-relay finishing 12th in the 200 free relay (1:26.22) with legs from
Lucas Silva,
Dane Dillenback,
Kris Flores, and
Ben Turley.
