POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team begins conference play at Mount St. Mary's, as the Red Foxes take on the Mountaineers on Friday, Dec. 19. Tip-off from Knott Arena is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes fell 69-58 in their final non-conference matchup of the season against Binghamton on Dec. 13 at the Events Center.
• Senior captain guard Lexie Tarul erupted for a career-high 24 points, shooting 8-for-14 from the field and 6-for-11 on 3-pointers to tie her career high, along with a team-high seven rebounds.
• Freshman forward Justine Henry added 15 points, six rebounds and three steals.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS

• Mount St. Mary's, 4-5 on the season, is led by Antoine White in his fifth season as head coach.
• The Mount are coming off a 81-52 win over Mercyhurst.
• The Mount are led on offense by Gabrielle Kennerly, who is averaging 13.7 points per game.
• Mount St. Mary's was picked to finish third in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

• Sunday's contest against Mount St. Mary's will mark Marist's 26th against the Mount.
• The Red Foxes are 6-19 in the all-time series.
