Red Foxes Open December Slate at Lafayette

Marist Continues Non-Conference Play With Sunday Matinee at 2 p.m. on ESPN+

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team returns to action at Lafayette, as the Red Foxes take on the Leopards in a non-conference matchup on Sunday, Dec. 7. Tip-off from Kirby Sports Center is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Red Foxes dropped two games at the 2025–26 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam, falling to #5 LSU and Miami (OH).
  • Freshman forward Justine Henry led Marist with a career-high 21 points on 4-of-8 shooting from deep against the Tigers.
  • Senior captain guards Jackie Piddock and Lexie Tarul led the way with nine points apiece against the Red Hawks.
SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS
  • Lafayette, 4-5 on the season, is led by Kia Damon Olson, who is in her ninth season as head coach.

  • Justine Henry was named the Air Force Reserve Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
  • Henry averaged 13.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 3-pointers while shooting 85% from the free throw line (17-for-20) over three games.
  • Henry became the only player in the nation this season to record at least 20 points and eight rebounds against the fifth-ranked Tigers.
  • The freshman phenom has made an immediate impact in her rookie season, leading the Red Foxes in scoring (112 points, 14.0 per game), rebounding (59; 7.4), and steals (11; 1.4) through eight games.

  • The Red Foxes conclude non-conference play with a matchup at Binghamton on Saturday, Dec. 13.
  • Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
