ALBANY, New York – The Marist men's basketball team came back from a 14-point deficit to defeat Siena by a score of 65-64 MVP Arena on Friday night.
 
The win was the 800
th in Marist program history.
 
	- Marist had two four-point leads in the first six minutes of the game.
- Siena went on an 18-2 run to take a 12-point lead at the 8:35 mark.
- Siena led by as much as 14 in the first half, and took a 37-24 lead to the locker room.
 
	- Marist scored the first seven points of the second half, and opened the half with a 12-1 run to get within two.
- Siena countered with a 7-0 run.
- A 6-0 Marist run brought the Red Foxes back within two, and forced a Siena timeout at the 9:07 mark.
- Siena's lead jumped back to seven on two occasions, but Jadin Collins-Roberts' layup tied the score with 1:04 left. However, Gavin Doty's layup gave Siena a 64-62 advantage with 45.5 to go.
- Elijah Lewis' three on Marist's next possession gave the Red Foxes a 65-64 lead with 24 seconds remaining, and accounted for the game's final points.
 
	- Lewis led the Red Foxes with 14 points, with 11 coming in the second half.
- Josh Pascarelli added 12, with all coming in the second half.
- Jaden Daughtry secured a game-high 13 rebounds.
- Jadin Collins-Roberts had a team-high four assists to go along with eight points and three rebounds.
- Marist held Siena to .358 (19-for-53) shooting from the field and .235 (4-for-17) from three-point range.
- Gavin Doty led Siena with 20 points and seven rebounds.
 
	- Marist now has a four-game winning streak against Siena, its longest since winning six straight from 2004-07.
- The 14-point deficit Marist overcame ties its largest of the season. This previously occurred at Stony Brook on Dec. 17.
- This is the 14th time in head coach John Dunne's tenure that Marist has come back from at least 10 points down to win a game.
- Marist is now 8-2 when trailing at halftime this season.
- Marist is now 6-1 in games decided by three points or less.
- Marist has now had 17 of its 22 games this season decided by seven point or less.
- This was the 96th Marist-Siena game, the highest total for any Marist opponent.
 
	- Marist is 17-5 overall and 10-3 in MAAC play.
- Siena is 11-14 this season and 6-8 in conference play.
 
	- Marist continues its two-game road trip at Merrimack on Sunday.
