POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Marist women's basketball welcomes MAAC newcomers Merrimack to Poughkeepsie on Saturday afternoon for a battle on ESPN+ set for 1 p.m. inside of McCann Arena.
- At the annual Pink Game, fans are encouraged to participate in the "Pink Out", and to wear pink to support the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation and raise breast cancer awareness.
- For the game, Marist will be wearing its new pink uniforms,The "Marist Pinks".
- At halftime of the Mile of Hope game on Feb. 15, the Marist Athletics Department and Miles of Hope will recognize breast cancer survivors with a special on-court ceremony.
- The game marks the 15th time the Marist Athletics Department will partner with Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation to promote the importance of breast cancer awareness in the Hudson River Valley.
- Proceeds from the evening's 50-50 raffle will benefit the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.
- Donations will also be accepted.
- Marist is 7-3 inside McCann Arena to start the 2024-25 season.
- Red Foxes have two scorers averaging double figures in points in home contests in Lexie Tarul (12.5 ppg) and Morgan Lee (14.2 ppg).
- Marist is averaging 13.8 assists per game in home contests.
- The Red Foxes have made 10 or more three-pointers in two home games this season.
- The Red Foxes are averaging 63.6 points per game on 43.3% shooting from the floor and 35.8% from deep in home games.
- Marist has held its opponents below 60 points in six of 10 home games this season.

- Merrimack is led by Kelly Morronne who has totaled 51 wins in five seasons as the head coach of the program.
- The Warriors are 10-13 on the season and 6-8 in the MAAC entering Saturday's contest against the Red Foxes.
- Merrimack has won two of its last three games.
- The Warriors picked up a home victory against Manhattan, 71-69, in their last time out on Thursday.
- Merrimack averages 59.6 points per game, while shooting 37.8% from the floor and 27.9% from deep.
- Thalia Shepard leads the Warriors in scoring at 12.6 points per game.
- Saturday's contest against Merrimack will be the first ever matchup with the Warriors.
- Marist will be back in action on Thursday, Feb. 20, when the Red Foxes travel to Buffalo to take on Canisius.
- Tip-off inside Koessler Athletic Arena is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
