NIAGARA FALLS, NY – Marist women's basketball aims to complete the Buffalo sweep, as the Red Foxes take on Niagara on Saturday at 2 p.m. inside of the Gallagher Center on ESPN+.
- Four different Red Foxes reached double-figures in scoring, as Marist women's basketball downed MAAC foe Canisius on the road in overtime, 69-62, Thursday evening inside the Koessler Athletic Center
- Lexie Tarul led the way with a career-high 19 points and added four rebounds and two steals.
- Morgan Lee contributed 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and seven blocks.
- Lee's seven blocks is a career-high and tied the program's single-game record.
- Jackie Piddock added 15 points and scored 13 of her 15 points in the second half.
- Danielle Williamsen contributed 13 points and five rebounds.
- Morgan Lee recorded 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and a career-high seven blocks against Canisius on Feb. 20.
- Her seven blocks tied the single-game program record.
- Lee is tied for first (7) and second (6) in the program record book for most blocks in a single-game
- Niagara is led by Jada Pierce who has totaled 110 wins in 10 seasons as the head coach of the program.
- The Purple Eagles are 1-22 on the season and 0-15 in the MAAC entering Saturday's contest against the Red Foxes.
