NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Marist women's basketball aims to snap its two-game skid, as the Red Foxes travel to take MAAC foe Iona Saturday inside the Hynes Athletic Center at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
 

• Danielle Williamsen and Malea Egan scored nine points apiece, as Marist women's basketball was downed by MAAC foe Fairfield at home, 80-49, Thursday evening inside McCann Arena.
• Morgan Lee added six points, five rebounds, and five blocks in the loss
• Egan's nine points marked a new career-high for the sophomore.

• Redshirt junior Lexie Tarul returns for her second year with the Red Foxes.
• Tarul is averaging a career-best 11.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 0.9 steals per game per game
• She leads the team and is fourth in the MAAC with 44 made three-pointers this season.
•  She has made multiple three-pointer's in 15 of Marist's 21 games this season.
• Tarul has knocked down at least three three-point field goals in nine of Marist's 21 games this season.
• Tarul has led the team in scoring in six games this season.
• She tallied 15 points, knocked down three shots from deep, and tallied a career-high five assists against Iona on Jan. 2
• Tarul recorded 17 points on 5-for-7 shooting in the win over Manhattan on Dec. 21.
• She made a career-high four three's and scored a career-high 19 points in Marist's win over North Dakota on Dec. 1.
• Tarul knocked down three three-pointers and scored 18 points against St. John's on Nov. 21.
• Tarul scored 17 points in the opener against Drexel on Nov. 7, knocking down three three-pointers in the process.

• • Iona is led by Angelika Szumilo who has totaled 20 wins so far in her two seasons as the head coach of the program.
• The Gaels are 9-13 on the season and 7-5 in the MAAC entering Saturday's contest against the Red Foxes.
• Iona has won two of its last three games.
• The Gaels picked up a home victory against Mount St. Mary's, 62-60, in their last time out on Thursday.
• Iona averages 56.9 points per game, while shooting 37.7% from the floor and 31.6% from deep.
• The Gaels have three players who average at least 9.0 points per game in Judith Gomez (9.0 ppg), Zoey Ward (9.2 ppg), and Ella Fajardo (9.9 ppg).

• Saturday's contest against Iona will be Marist's 63rd ever matchup with the Gaels.

• Iona has won each of the last three contests against Marist.
• Marist held a 29-game win streak over Iona from 2002-13.
