Men’s and Women’s Tennis to Take on Colorado College

USAF Academy, Colorado – Marist men's and women's tennis travel to USAF Academy, CO, to take on Colorado College on Thursday, March 13.

The women have won back-to-back matches and look to stay hot, while the men will aim to bounce back from a 5-2 loss against Binghamton.

Matches will begin at 11 a.m. for the women and at 2 p.m. for the men.

MAAC Players of the Week
  • Jose Catala and Caterina Assi were named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's & Women's Tennis Players of the Week on Wednesday, March 12.
  • Catala went 4-0 last week, with his standout victory against Binghamton. In that match, Catala defeated his #1 singles opponent 6(5)-7(7), 6-3, 1(10)-0(8).
  • Assi led the Red Foxes to a perfect 2-0 record this past week, playing a pivotal role in the 7-0 sweep of Holy Cross and a dominant 4-1 victory over Binghamton. Her standout performance came against Holy Cross when she defeated her opponent 6-0, 6-0 at #1 singles.
 
Scouting Colorado College Men's Tennis
  • The Tigers are winless on the year, sitting at 0-5.
  • Colorado College lost its last match 5-2 against Barton Community College.
  • Dominik Kaminski is 2-3 in singles and 2-3 in doubles.
  • Justin Boder is 2-1 in doubles matches, all while partnered with Dominik Kaminski.
 
Scouting Colorado College Women's Tennis
  • The Tigers are 3-2 this season, winning three of their last four games.
  • Last time out, Colorado College took down Barton Community College 6-1.
  • Amelia Karr is 2-1 in doubles matches and 0-2 in singles matches.
  • Aspen Young has yet to lose in three singles matches played.
  • Ally Lowe has won three of five singles matches in the 2025 season.
