EMMITSBURG, Maryland – The Marist University men's basketball team dropped its regular-season finale at Mount St. Mary's by a score of 62-52 on Saturday.

The Red Foxes will be the #3 sed in the MAAC Championships, and will open against Mount (seeded sixth) on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

- Mount scored the game's first five points, but Marist responded with a 9-0 run.
- The Red Foxes added a 7-0 run, and Jason Schofield's hook shot gave Marist a 19-8 lead at the 10:12 mark.
- Xavier Lipscomb's layup cut Marist's lead to four with 12 seconds left in the half, but Jadin Collins-Roberts found Trace Salton for a layup in the waning seconds. This gave Marist a 29-23 lead going to the locker room.

- Mount scored the first 11 points of the second half to re-claim the lead, as Marist was held scoreless for the first 6:09.
- A 7-0 spurt extended Mount's lead to nine at 43-34 with 9:11 left.
- Josh Pascarelli responded with back-to-back threes, which brought Marist to within three.
- A three by Elijah Lewis brought Marist back to within three with 5:44 left. On the ensuing possession, Dola Adebayo converted a three-point play to put Mount up six.
- Mount closed the game by holding Marist to three field goals in the final five minutes.

- Jackson Price led Marist with 13 points, followed by Pascarelli with 11.
- Lewis had a team-high seven rebounds.
- Mount's Dallas Hobbs led all scorers with 17 points, while Adebayo finished with 16 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
