CHERRY HILL, NJ - Marist Women's Rowing traveled to Cooper River Park in Cherry Hill, NJ, to compete in the Knecht Cup Regatta this weekend. Crews from across the country came together for a highly competitive event. The regatta served as a valuable test against fellow MAAC programs and teams from other conferences. Saturday's racing conditions featured intermittent rain, chilly temperatures, and a moderate crosshead wind. On Sunday, conditions improved slightly for the finals, with warmer temperatures and a cross tailwind.

After strong performances in Saturday morning's heats, all five Marist crews advanced to the next racing round. The 1st and 2nd Varsity 8+ and the 1st Varsity 4+ moved on to Saturday afternoon semi-finals, with finals on Sunday. The 2nd Varsity 4+ and Frosh/Novice 8+ advanced directly to Sunday's finals.

The 1st Varsity 8+ consisted of coxswain Ariana Novero, Abby Deane, Gabrielle Insero, Summer Starrett, Lillian Iannaccone, Sophie Forster, Megan McGowan, Natalie Ronan, and  Kaleigh Tompkins.
