POMONA, New York- The Marist baseball team fought off elimination for a second-straight day, Wednesday afternoon. The Red Foxes triumphed against Siena 12-2, led by a
Noel Rivera home run.
Noel Rivera led the Red Foxes with four RBIs in the elimination win over Siena. Rivera finished the game 3-6 with a two-run home run.
Tyler Hartley had a dominant start in the win for the Red Foxes. Hartley pitched 6.1 scoreless innings, striking out six batters in the win.
The Red Foxes are slated to compete against the loser of Sacred Heart and Fairfield from the winner's bracket. The game is slated for May 22 with first pitch at 7 p.m.
