POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Marist Athletics Department honored the class of 2025 on Monday night in the McCann Center Recreational Gym.
Their head coaches individually recognized all senior student-athletes. To conclude the evening, major awards were given to both teams and individuals.

- Women's soccer was selected for the Team Strength & Conditioning Awards for the second time, women's lacrosse for the seventh time, and men's lacrosse for the 11th time.
- Alana Tavares of women's lacrosse and Nick Jackson of football won the Advantage Sports Strength & Conditioning Awards.
- Tavares is the fifth women's lacrosse player to receive the award, and Jackson is the 14th football player to capture it.

- The Athletic Director's Award is given annually to the women's and men's teams with the highest cumulative grade-point average. This year's winners are volleyball and men's cross country. Volleyball won for the fourth year in a row and the 11th time overall, and men's cross-country was honored for the second consecutive year and the 11th time overall.
- The President's Academic Achievement Award is given annually to the male and female student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade-point average. This year's winners are Claire Lewis of volleyball, Kiana Pathirana of women's track and field, and Jorgen Kristiansen of men's soccer.
- This is the fourth time a volleyball player has received the award, the sixth time a women's cross country/track & field athlete has received the award, and the eighth time a men's soccer player has received the award.

- Marist Athletics has given out the James E. Pizzani Award to honor the life of James Pizzani, '64, since 1990. Pizzani, who was an advocate for Marist Athletics during his life, lost his nine-month battle with cancer in 1988. The award is presented to a male and female (does not have to be a student-athlete) who has contributed to the athletic department, both academically and socially, displaying community service and leadership, and has performed above and beyond all expectations.
- This year's winners are Alana Tavares of women's lacrosse and Nick Jackson of Football. It was the ninth time a women's lacrosse player and the sixth time a football player has earned the honor.
- Nick Jackson is the first male student-athlete to win the strength & conditioning award and Pizzani in school history. Alana Tavares is the first female student-athlete to do it since 2006.

- This award is presented to the top female and male student-athletes throughout their Marist careers.
- The men's sportsperson of the year recipient is men's swimming's James Conable, marking the third consecutive year and eighth overall time a men's swimming and diving athlete has received the award.
- In an unprecedented move, Marist Athletics selected three student-athletes for Female Sportsperson of the Year: Softball's Kiley Myers, Miah McDonald, and Maddie Pleasants. This is the sixth year a softball player was honored, making these three the sixth, seventh, and eighth softball players to receive the award.
