POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Red-shirt sophomore tight end
Jackson Conners-McCarthy of the Marist University football team was ranked #6 among returning Football Championship Subdivision tight ends by HERO Sports.

Conners-McCarthy earned numerous accolades following a stellar 2024 season. He was named an Honorable Mention All-American by The Associated Press. He was also honored as a Freshman All-American by Stats Perform and Phil Steele Publications. Conners-McCarthy was named Second Team All-Pioneer Football League.

Last season, Conners-McCarthy led the Red Foxes with 50 receptions and 441 receiving yards. He also contributed three receiving touchdowns. His season high of eight receptions occurred against Georgetown on Sept. 7, and he had first 100-yard receiving game with 101 at Davidson on Oct. 5. Conners-McCarthy added 64 rushing yards on seven carries.
