POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist volleyball team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2025 season, which features 31 total matchups, including 13 non-conference and 18 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) contests.
 
 

Non-Conference Schedule

• Marist will begin its season by competing in the Buffalo Invitational, starting with a double-header on Friday, Aug. 29, against Liberty and Rutgers. The Red Foxes will close out their opening weekend by taking on host Buffalo the following day.
• The following weekend, Marist will travel to Murfreesboro, TN, to take on Middle Tennessee on Friday, Sept. 5. The Red Foxes will remain in Murfreesboro to face UT-Martin on Saturday, Sept. 6, and Mississippi State on Sunday, Sept. 7.
• The Red Foxes will next partake in a doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 12, first competing against St. John's before taking on the reigning MEAC Champion Delaware State. The following day, the Red Foxes will face West Virginia.
• Marist will then travel to Storrs, CT, to face UCONN on Friday, Sept. 20. The Red Foxes will remain in Storrs to compete against Brown on Saturday, Sept. 21.
• Marist will host its final non-conference opponent, Holy Cross, on Tuesday, Oct. 7.

 

MAAC Play

• Marist will kick off MAAC play with a weekend at home starting Friday, Sept. 26, against Rider. They will then host St. Peter's on Saturday, Sept. 27, and Siena on Sunday, Sept. 28.
• The following weekend, Marist will travel to Fairfield, CT, to play back-to-back MAAC Champions Fairfield on Friday, Oct. 10, before taking on Sacred Heart on Saturday, Oct. 11. 
• The Red Foxes will return home on Friday, Oct. 17, to host Merrimack, followed by Quinnipiac on Saturday, Oct. 18.
• The following week, Marist will travel to Northern New York to face Canisius on Friday, Oct. 2, and Niagara on Saturday, Oct. 3. The following Tuesday, they will take a short trip to Loudonville, NY, to take on Siena on Oct. 28.
• On Halloween, the Red Foxes will host Sacred Heart, followed by Fairfield on Saturday, Nov. 1, in their final home match of the season.
• Marist will then head to Iona on Friday, Nov. 7, and Manhattan on Saturday, Nov. 8.
• In the final weekend of the regular season, Marist will head to New Jersey to play St. Peter's on Friday, Nov. 14, before wrapping things up on Saturday, Nov. 15, against Rider.
