HAMILTON, NY – The Marist women's soccer team continues its 2025 non-conference slate, as the Red Foxes aim to pick up their first win of the season on the road against Colgrate on Thursday, August 21. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. from Beyer-Small '76 Field on ESPN+. 
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes came up short 4-0 in their opener at Fordham on Aug. 15
• Gabby Tirado led the Marist attack with seven shots and five on goal
• Maddy Catalanotti made six saves in goal for Marist

SCOUTING THE RAIDERS

• Colgate enters the contest at 0-0-1 after tying with Buffalo, 1-1, in the season opener at home this past Sunday
• Jess Urena led the Colgate attack with a goal off an assist from Ari Bezanson
• Ella Poppinga made six saves in net for the Raiders 
• Colgate was voted to place sixth in the preseason Patriot League poll, one spot higher than both 2023 and 2024. The Raiders have earned a postseason berth in each of the last two seasons.

HISTORY VS COLGATE

• Thursday's contest will mark the fifth contest between the two programs
• Colgate holds a record of 3-0-1 against Marist
• The last time the two squads faced off, Colgate came away with a 3-1 victory on Aug. 26, 2012 in Hamilton

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes will be back in action on Sunday, Aug. 24, when Marist welcomes NJIT to Poughkeepsie for its home opener
• The contest is set for a 1 p.m. start from Tenney Stadium on ESPN+
