Marist Men’s Basketball’s Complete 2025-26 Schedule Released

Red Foxes Will Play 15 Home Games, Including Six Straight in November & December

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The entire Marist University men's basketball schedule for the 2025-26 season has been released. The Marist Athletics Department has announced the Red Foxes' nine non-conference games, while the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has set its full schedule.
 
A closer look at the Red Foxes' 29 games:
 
  • Marist will have a total of 15 home games, with five non-conference contests and 10 against MAAC foes at McCann Arena this season.
  • Marist opens its season with back-to-back road games at Xavier (Nov. 3) and Dartmouth (Nov. 9). It will be the Red Foxes' first meeting against Xavier in program history.
  • Marist will then play six straight games at McCann Arena, the program's longest home stretch since the 1991-92 season (seven games):
    • The Red Foxes' home opener will be against crosstown Vassar on Nov. 12.
    • Marist will then play non-conference home games against Harvard (Nov. 16), Army West Point (Nov. 21), and Lehigh (Nov. 25).
    • Marist will open MAAC play against Mount St. Mary's (Dec. 5) and Manhattan (Dec. 7). It's the second straight year the Red Foxes open conference play at home against Mount, and it is the third straight year Marist will face Manhattan on the first Sunday of MAAC play.
  • Marist's final two road non-conference games will be at Bryant (Dec. 13) and Georgia Tech (Dec. 16). It is Marist's first meeting against Bryant, and fourth against Georgia Tech but first since 2003.
  • The Red Foxes will wrap up non-conference play against Stony Brook at McCann Arena (Dec. 21).
  • Marist resumes MAAC play at Quinnipiac (Dec. 29). This will start a stretch of four out of five on the road that will also include trips to Saint Peter's, Sacred Heart, and Rider.
  • After back-to-back home games against Fairfield (Jan. 17) and Merrimack (Jan. 19), Marist will play five of its next seven away from McCann Arena.
  • Marist's last road game will be at Manhattan (Feb. 20). The Red Foxes close the regular season with consecutive home games against Sacred Heart (Feb. 22) and Saint Peter's (March 1).
 
MAAC Facts
  • Marist will play eight MAAC opponents both at home and on the road: Fairfield, Manhattan, Merrimack, Quinnipiac, Rider, Sacred Heart, Saint Peter's, Siena.
  • Marist will face Iona and Mount St. Mary's at home only.
  • Marist will only face Canisius and Niagara on the road.
  • The top 10 teams in the MAAC regular-season standings will qualify for the conference championships, which will take place from March 5-10 in Atlantic City, New Jersey at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.

The 2025-26 season will mark the Red Foxes' eighth under the leadership of head coach John Dunne. Last season, Marist won 20 games for the fifth time in program history, and first time in 17 years.
