POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Marist women's soccer team continues its 2025 non-conference slate, as the Red Foxes welcome NJIT to Tenney Stadium for the 2025 home opener on Sunday August 24. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. from on ESPN+. 
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes came up short, 2-1 on the road against Colgate this past Thursday
• Jillian Garcia led the offense with a goal, marking the first of the season for the Red Foxes.
• Maddy Catalanotti made three saves in goal for Marist

SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS

• NJIT enters the contest at 1-1-0 on the season
• The Highlanders opened the season with a 3-0 loss at Rutgers, before picking up its first win of the season UMass, 3-0, this past Thursday
• NJIT saw three different players score a goal in its victory over UMass
• The Highlanders were picked to finished seventh in the preseason America East coaches poll

HISTORY VS NJIT

• Saturday's contest will mark the fifth contest between the two programs
• Marist holds a record of 2-1-1 against NJIT
• The last time the two squads faced off, they played to a scoreless tie on Aug. 22, 2024 in Newark

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes will be back in action on Thursday, Aug. 28, when Marist welcomes Binghamton to Poughkeepsie for a match
• The contest is set for a 4 p.m. start from Tenney Stadium on ESPN+
