Red Foxes Set for Road Bout With Holy Cross Sunday at 3 PM

Women's Soccer Aims for First Win of 2025 vs. the Crusaders

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Marist women's soccer team continues its 2025 non-conference slate, as the Red Foxes hit the road for a matchup with Holy Cross on Sunday, August 31. The game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. on ESPN+ from Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium. 
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Red Foxes came up short, narrowly falling, 2-1, against Binghamton this past Thursday
  • Captain Gabby Tirado scored Marist's lone goal, the first of her collegiate career
  • Freshman Jiji Sweiss had the assist on the goal
SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
  • Holy Cross enters play at 1-3-1 on the season
  • The Crusaders opened the season at 0-3-1 before downing New Hampshire, 3-1, this past Thursday.
  • Six different players have registered a goal for the Crusaders on the season
  • Goalkeeper Aubrey Haesche has a 1-1-1 record in three games played with three goals allowed and 13 saves 
HISTORY VS HOLY CROSS
  • Sunday's contest against Holy Cross will be the first ever contest between the two programs
NEXT TIME OUT
  • Marist will be back at home on Saturday, Sep. 6 at 7 p.m. against Iona for its MAAC opener
