POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Marist men's soccer team looks to continue its hot start entering MAAC play against Quinnipiac on Saturday, Sep. 20. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on ESPN+

 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes defeated Lehigh 1-0 at home this past Tuesday, improving to a 4-0-2 record on the season
• Freshman Adriano Iannello scored the lone goal for Marist, and is tied for the team lead with two goals. Junior Arion Ulaj added the assist.
• Graduate student Jamie Lowell recorded his third shutout of the season in his sixth start, and  had five saves in the victory. Lowell's three shutouts are the most in the MAAC and tie his total of three last season

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS

• Quinnipiac enters the contest at 1-4-1 on the season
• The Bobcats dropped their last matchup, 5-2, against LIU this past Tuesday
• Sophomore Sivert Ryssdalsnes leads the team with three goals, two assists, and eight points
• Junior goalkeeper Emilio Balderrama has started five of the six games for the Bobcats
• Balderrama has a 0-4-1 record with 13 saves and 14 goals allowed
• Graduate student Matthew Pisani was in net for Quinnipiac's lone win against Caldwell on Sep. 11.
• Pisani had two saves, one goal against in the win, along with an assist. 

HISTORY AGAINST QUINNIPIAC

• This will be the 14th matchup between the two programs 
• Marist is 4-8-1 all-time against Quinnipiac 
• The Red Foxes defeated the Bobcats 2-1 last season on Nov. 10, 2024 in Hamden

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes travel to Emmitsburg, MD on Saturday, Sep. 27, for a MAAC match against  Mount St. Mary's
• The start for the contest is TBD on ESPN+.
