POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Marist women's soccer team continues its 2025 slate at home against their its first MAAC opponent of the season, as the Red Foxes host Iona at Tenney Stadium on Saturday, September 6. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes Traveled to Worcester to face off against Holy Cross in a heartbreaking 2-0 loss.
•  Senior goalkeeper Maddy Catalanotti made three saves in net for the Red Foxes

SCOUTING THE GAELS

• Iona enters play at 1-4-1 on the season
• Iona dropped their last game 0-0, and have lost four straight
• Iona won their last game against Lafayette, 5-0, this past Wednesday 
• Mya Jackson leads the Gaels with one goal on the season

HISTORY VS. IONA

• This will be the 25th all-time matchup between Marist and Iona in program history, and the 12th at Tenney Stadium.
• This will be the first time Marist will host Iona since 2022.
• The Red Foxes are 11-8-5 in their history against the Gaels dating back to 2001
• Marist and Iona tied 1-1 in the last meeting on Oct. 19, 2024, in New Rochelle, NY
• Sophomore Sophia Dorsey notched the lone goal with the assist from junior Kelsey Peduto
• Marist has not lost to Iona since 2013
