POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (6-11 overall, 3-4 MAAC) continues conference play against Quinnipiac, as the Red Foxes face the Bobcats on Saturday, Jan. 17. Tip-off from M&T Bank Arena is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes fell 63-49 to Fairfield on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at McCann Arena.
• Sophomore guard Danielle Williamsen scored a team-high 15 points, knocking down four 3-pointers on eight attempts.
• Freshman forward Justine Henry contributed 11 points and eight rebounds, while sophomore guard Kasey Bretones added a career-high 10 points.

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS

• Quinnipiac, 12-4 on the season, is led by Tricia Fabbri in her 31st year as head coach.
• The Bobcats have gotten off to a 7-0 start in MAAC play.
• Jackie Grisdale averages 13.8 points per game to lead five Bobcats averaging double figures.
• Quinnipiac was picked to finish second in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

HISTORY VS. QUINNIPIAC

• Saturday's contest against Quinnipiac will mark Marist's  30th against the Bobcats.
• The Red Foxes are 7-22 in the all-time series.

• Marist is shooting 78.1% (182-for-233) from the free throw line this season, which leads the MAAC and ranks 13th in NCAA Division I.
• The Red Foxes have three players shooting over 80.0% from the charity stripe (min. 10 attempts) in Jackie Piddock, Justine Henry, and Lexie Tarul.
• Piddock is shooting 88.9% (32-for-36) from the line.
• Henry is shooting 81.8% (54-for-66) from the line.
