POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team continues conference play against Manhattan, as the Red Foxes face the Jaspers on Saturday, Jan. 3. Tip-off from Draddy Gymnasium is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes picked up their first conference win of the season with a 57-55 victory over Sacred Heart on Dec. 29.
• Sophomore guard Danielle Williamsen led the way with 13 points, while senior captain guard Lexie Tarul added 12 points to help the Red Foxes snap a three-game losing skid.
• Freshman forward Justine Henry finished with 11 points.

SCOUTING THE JASPERS

• Manhattan, 1-11 on the season, is led by Heather Vulin in her 10th year as head coach.
• The Jaspers haven gotten off to a 1-2 start in MAAC play, defeating Saint Peter's 60-45 in their previous game.
• Brianna Davis averages 12.3 points per game to lead the Jaspers.
• Manhattan was picked to finish seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

HISTORY VS. MANHATTAN

• Saturday's contest against Manhattan will mark Marist's 68th against the Jaspers.
• The Red Foxes are 42-25 in the all-time series and have won four out of the last five matchups.

• Marist is shooting 78.7% (140-for-178) from the free throw line this season, which ranks second in the MAAC and 11th in NCAA Division I.
• The Red Foxes have two players shooting over 80.0% from the charity stripe (min. 10 attempts) in Jackie Piddock and Justine Henry.
• Piddock is shooting 86.4% (19-for-22) from the line.
• Henry is shooting 83.9% (47-for-56) from the line.
