POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (6-13 overall, 3-6 MAAC) continues conference play against Siena, as the Red Foxes host the Saints on Thursday, Jan. 22. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes dropped a 56-54 contest to Sacred Heart on Monday afternoon.
• Marist led 46-31 through three quarters, but the Pioneers outscored the Red Foxes 25-8 in the final frame to rally for the victory.
• Senior captain guard Lexie Tarul led Marist with 12 points, while freshman forward Justine Henry added 10.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS

• Siena, 7-11 on the season, is led by Terry Primm in his second year as head coach.
• The Saints have gotten off to a 5-4 start in MAAC play.
• Francesca Schiro averages 16.1 points per game to lead the Saints on offense.
• Siena was picked to finish fifth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

• Thursday's contest against Siena will mark Marist's 79th against the Saints.
