POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (7-14 overall, 4-7 MAAC) continues conference play against Canisius, as the Red Foxes host the Golden Griffins on Thursday, Jan. 29. Tip-off from McCann Arena is set for 5 p.m. on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes fell 65-64 to Iona on Jan. 24 at the Hynes Athletic Center.
• Senior captain guard Jackie Piddock scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Red Foxes. 
• Freshman forward Justine Henry added 16 points, while senior captain guard Lexie Tarul finished with 12 to give Marist three players in double figures.

• Canisius, 3-16 on the season, is led by Tiffany Swoffard in her second year as head coach.
• The Golden Griffins are 1-9 in MAAC play.
• Shariah Gailes averages 13.7 points per game to lead the Golden Griffins on offense.
• Canisius was picked to finish ninth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

• Thursday's contest against Canisius will mark Marist's 65th against the Golden Griffins.
• The Red Foxes are 45-19 in the all-time series.
