POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Eight Marist University football players were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District on Tuesday.

Marist's eight honorees are:

- Graduate left guard Will Aaronson – Master's in Business Administration.
- Red-shirt junior center Brandon Furey – Psychology major, honored for the second straight year.
- Red-shirt junior right tackle Chris Leonardo – Economics major, earned honor for the third straight year.
- Sophomore wide receiver Jack Melore – Business Administration major.
- Sophomore safety Nate Robinson Jr. – Psychology major.
- Red-shirt sophomore guard TJ Surace – Business Administration major.
- Junior linebacker Kade Werner – Communication major, honored for the second straight year.
- Sophomore punter Ethan Yuska – Business Administration major.

Requirements for CSC eligibility include meeting a threshold on games started or played in, having a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, and having at least sophomore status academically and athletically.

The total of eight honorees is the most in program history, breaking the record of six set in 2022 and 2024.

Marist completed its second season under the leadership of head coach
Mike Willis in 2025.
