POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist women's soccer team heads on the road to face Iona on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The Metro Conference match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at Mazzella Field on ESPN+. 

• Marist fell to St. Peter's 1-0 on Saturday.
• St. Peter's scored the lone goal in the 73rd minute. 
• Junior forward Ariana Mullin recorded eight shots with four on goal, and sophomore midfielder Jiji Sweiss recorded five shots with two on goal
• Marist outshot St. Peter's 26-5, their second most shots in a game this season.
• Marist is now 5-8-1 overall and 5-3-1 in conference play. 

• The Gaels are 5-7-2 overall and 2-5-1 in conference play, sitting in 10th place in the Metro.
• Iona lost to Miami 3-1 on Sunday, and have dropped their last two games. 
• Junior forward Dolene Smith leads Iona with six goals.
• Junior goalkeeper Kayla Kalbaugh is 3-5-2 , with  26 goals against and 51 saves, along with four shutouts. 

• This contest marks the 26th match between the Red Foxes and Golden Griffins all-time.
• Marist holds a record of 11-8-6 against Iona.
• Their last three matches resulted in draws, most recently a 1-1 tie on Sept. 9, 2025 in Poughkeepsie.
• Iona's last win against Marist was on Oct. 23, 2013.

• The Red Foxes will face Rider in their final regular season home match on Saturday, Oct. 24.
• The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start and will be streamed on ESPN+.
