POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (10-17 overall, 7-10 MAAC) continues conference play against Manhattan, as the Red Foxes host the Jaspers on Thursday, Feb. 19. Tip-off from McCann Arena is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

- The Marist University women's basketball team dropped a road contest at Rider, 56-43, on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Gymnasium.
- Freshman forward Justine Henry recorded a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double to lead the Red Foxes, who shot just 16-for-49 (32.7%) from the field and 1-for-15 (6.7%) from beyond the arc as a team.
- Manhattan, 7-18 on the season, is led by Heather Vulin in her 10th year as head coach.
- The Jaspers are 7-9 in MAAC play and currently sit in eighth place.
- Brianna Davis leads the Jaspers on offense, averaging 14.8 points per game.
- Manhattan was picked to finish 7th in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Thursday's contest against Manhattan will mark Marist's 69th against the Jaspers.
- Â The Red Foxes lead the all-time series 43-25, most recently winning 62-57 on Jan. 3.
- Marist is shooting 77.0% (291-for-378) from the free throw line this season, which ranks second in the MAAC.
- The Red Foxes have three players shooting over 77.0% from the charity stripe (min. 10 attempts) in Jackie Piddock, Justine Henry, and Lexie Tarul.
- Piddock is shooting 87.1% (54-for-62) from the line.
- Henry is shooting 79.0% (83-for-105) from the line.
- Tarul is shooting 77.3% (58-for-75) from the line.
- The Red Foxes shot a perfect 100% (12-for-12) in the loss to Miami (OH) on Nov. 29 and in the win over Siena (13-for-13) on Jan. 22.
- Marist is shooting 33.9% (183-for-540) from 3-point range this season, which ranks third in the MAAC behind conference leaders Fairfield and Quinnipiac.
- The Red Foxes have four players shooting over 35.0% from beyond the arc (min. 25 attempts) in Chloe Escanillas, Danielle Williamsen, Jackie Piddock, and Lexie Tarul.
- Escanillas is shooting 43.6% (24-for-55) on 3-pointers.
- Williamsen is shooting 37.9% (33-for-87) on 3-pointers.
- Piddock is shooting 35.5% (27-for-76) on 3-pointers.
- Tarul is shooting 35.1% (54-for-154) on 3-pointers.
- The Red Foxes return to action on Thursday, Feb. 26 at Saint Peter's.
