Marist Hosts Manhattan Thursday Evening at McCann Arena

Red Foxes to Celebrate Senior Night with Pre-Game Ceremony

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (10-17 overall, 7-10 MAAC) continues conference play against Manhattan, as the Red Foxes host the Jaspers on Thursday, Feb. 19. Tip-off from McCann Arena is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

Before the game, Marist will honor its four senior captains: Jackie Piddock, Ciara Croker, Lexie Tarul, and Morgan Tompkins.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Marist University women's basketball team dropped a road contest at Rider, 56-43, on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Gymnasium.
  • Freshman forward Justine Henry recorded a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double to lead the Red Foxes, who shot just 16-for-49 (32.7%) from the field and 1-for-15 (6.7%) from beyond the arc as a team.
SCOUTING THE JASPERS
  • Manhattan, 7-18 on the season, is led by Heather Vulin in her 10th year as head coach.
  • The Jaspers are 7-9 in MAAC play and currently sit in eighth place.
  • Brianna Davis leads the Jaspers on offense, averaging 14.8 points per game.
