Marist Baseball Team Falls In Game One In Nashville

The Red Foxes Lose 16-5 In Eight Innings Against Vanderbilt

Box Score NASHVILLE, TN – The Marist baseball team matched up against Vanderbilt University Friday afternoon. The Red Foxes hit three homeruns in the game but would fall to Vanderbilt 16-5 in eight innings due to the run-rule.

The Marist Red Foxes fall to 0-4 to start the season.
 
SUMMARY
  • The Red Foxes started the scoring in the top of the first with one run.
    • TJ Baer came across to score on an attempted steal of second.
  • Vanderbilt would quickly respond with three runs of their own in the bottom of the first, to make it 3-1 Commodores.
