Red Foxes Travel to Face Saint Peter's Thursday Evening

Marist Can Clinch MAAC Championship Tournament Berth With a Win

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (10-18 overall, 7-11 MAAC) continues conference play against Saint Peter's, as the Red Foxes face the Peacocks on Thursday, Feb. 26. Tip-off from Run Baby Run Arena is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

With a win, Marist can clinch a spot in the 2026 Air Force Reserve MAAC Women's Basketball Championships.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Red Foxes fell to Manhattan in overtime, 66-61, on Feb. 19 at McCann Arena.
  • Senior captain forward Ciara Croker had team highs of 17 points and 11 rebounds. 
  • Marist had three double-digit scorers, as senior captain guard Lexie Tarul finished with 15 and junior guard Julia Corsentino added a season-high 11 points off the bench.
SCOUTING THE PEACOCKS
  • Saint Peter's, 7-20 on the season, is led by Jennifer Leedham in her 4th year as head coach.
  • The Peacocks are 6-12 in MAAC play and currently sit in 10th place.
  • De'Naya Rippey leads the Peacocks on offense, averaging 13.0 points per game.
  • Saint Peter's was picked to finish 10th in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

  • Thursday's contest against Saint Peter's will mark Marist's 67th against the Peacocks.

  • Escanillas is shooting 42.1% (24-for-57) on 3-pointers.
  • Williamsen is shooting 37.9% (33-for-87) on 3-pointers.
