Red Foxes Wrap Up Regular Season at Siena

Tip-Off Set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (11-18 overall, 8-11 MAAC) concludes the regular season against I-87 rival Siena, as the Red Foxes face the Saints on Saturday, Feb. 28. Tip-off from the UHY Center is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Red Foxes earned a gritty 48-45 win over Saint Peter's on Thursday evening at Run Baby Run Arena.
  • Freshman forward Justine Henry recorded her sixth double-double of the season, finishing with team highs of 14 points and 11 rebounds to go along with two assists and two steals.
  • Senior captain guard Lexie Tarul added 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and a career-high five steals, while senior captain forward Ciara Croker chipped in 10 points and six rebounds.
  • The Red Foxes clinched the #9 seed in the 2026 Air Force Reserve MAAC Women's Basketball Championships.
SCOUTING THE SAINTS
  • Siena, 12-16 on the season, is led by Terry Primm in his second year as head coach.
  • At 10-9 in MAAC play, the Saints are currently part of a three-way tie for fifth place.
  • Francesca Schiro, who leads the Saints averaging 17.1 points per game, remains out with an injury. Siena is 1-3 without her in the lineup.
  • Siena was picked to finish fifth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
HISTORY VS. SIENA
  • Saturday's contest against Siena will mark Marist's 80th against the Saints.
  • The Red Foxes lead the all-time series 41-38, most recently winning by a score of 75-72 on Jan. 22.

  • Marist is shooting 76.9% (310-for-403) from the free throw line this season, which leads the MAAC and ranks 25th in NCAA Division I.
  • The Red Foxes have three players shooting over 77.0% from the charity stripe in Jackie Piddock, Justine Henry, and Lexie Tarul.

  • Henry is shooting 80.2% (89-for-111) from the line.

  • Marist is shooting 33.3% (195-for-585) from 3-point range this season, which ranks third in the MAAC behind conference leaders Fairfield and Quinnipiac.
  • The Red Foxes have three players shooting over 35.0% from beyond the arc (min. 15 attempts) in Chloe Escanillas, Danielle Williamsen, and Lexie Tarul.
  • Escanillas is shooting 41.4% (24-for-58) on 3-pointers.
  • Williamsen is shooting 37.9% (33-for-87) on 3-pointers.
  • Tarul is shooting 35.5% (60-for-169) on 3-pointers.

  • The Red Foxes are the #9 seed in the MAAC Championships and will play on Thursday, March 5 against an opponent that is TBD.
