Red Foxes Travel to Fairfield on Thursday

Tip-Off Set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (9-14 overall, 6-7 MAAC) continues conference play against Fairfield, as the Red Foxes take on the Stags on Thursday, Feb. 5. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Marist women's basketball team tied its season high with 19 assists in a 71-52 win over Niagara on Jan. 31 at McCann Arena.
  • Senior captain guard Lexie Tarul scored a team-high 17 points to go along with three rebounds, three assists, four steals, and one block.
  • Freshman forward Justine Henry recorded a 16-point, 11-rebound double-double along with a career-high six steals. Sophomore guard Chloe Escanillas added 11 points (3-for-5 from three), a career-high five assists, and two rebounds.
SCOUTING THE STAGS
  • Fairfield, 18-4 on the season, is led by Carly Thibault-DuDonis in her fourth year as head coach.
  • The Stags are 12-1 in MAAC play.
  • Kaety L'Amoreaux and Meghan Anderson lead the Stags on offense, averaging 19.1 and 15.7 points per game, respectively.
  • Fairfield was unanimously picked to finish first in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

  • Thursday's contest against Fairfield will mark Marist's 69th against the Stags.
  • The Red Foxes are 38-30 in the all-time series.
