Henry’s Double-Double Lifts Marist Past Saint Peter’s

Henry Posts 21 points, 10 rebounds and Career-High Four Assists in 56-53 Win

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Freshman forward Justine Henry recorded a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double with a career-high four assists and two steals to lead the Marist University women's basketball team to a 56-53 win over Saint Peter's on Saturday afternoon at McCann Arena.

Senior captain guard Lexie Tarul added 12 points for the Red Foxes, who improve to 10-15 overall and 7-8 in MAAC play. The Peacocks fall to 6-17 on the season and 5-9 in conference action.

FIRST QUARTER

Saint Peter's led 10-9 at the media timeout with 4:39 remaining.
The Red Foxes trailed 17-14 after one.

SECOND QUARTER

Marist used a 7-0 run to take a 21-19 lead at the 5:05 mark.
The Red Foxes carried a 30-25 advantage into halftime.
