Box Score HOLLY SPRINGS, North Carolina – Marist Baseball closed out a four-game weekend series against Purdue on Sunday afternoon. The Boilermakers took the final game by a score of 18–1. The Red Foxes fall to 0–10 on the season.
• Purdue started the scoring early, plating four runs in the bottom of the first inning.
• In the bottom of the third inning, the Boilermakers scored another four runs to go up 8–0.
• The Red Foxes got on the board in the top of the fourth with one run, making it 8–1.

AJ Brotz hit an RBI double through the left side to score one run.
• In the bottom of the fourth, Purdue scored another four runs to go up 12–1.
• In the fifth and sixth innings, the Boilermakers scored another six runs to go up 18–1 and closed out the game in the seventh with a run-rule.

Steven Mazza started the game on the mound, going 0.2 innings while allowing zero hits and four earned runs.

TJ Baer led the team with three hits, getting on base all three times he came to the dish.
